Hello Kitty Clipboards...
Here are a few of the clipboards that I made to go along with the composition books that will be put in the goodie bags for DD2's birthday party. I made a total of 15 clipboards since I needed a few extra to give the ladies who will be helping with the party.
Some of you might know that I've had my Cricut for a while, but have only used it a couple of times (and that was only to cut out letters). Well, for DD4's birthday party I bought the HK cartridge to use... but never did. So I told myself I needed to at least use it for DD2's birthday and would you believe that I finally did? After playing around with the features for a bit, I was able to figure things out... sorry, I'm not one to read directions... hehehe! It wasn't so bad after all! I guess now I can start using some of the other cartridges that I bought for it a long time ago... LOL!
Anyways, my weekend was pretty busy (as usual), but try making 15 clipboards, 12 composition books, and 9 desk tidy all in one weekend... you'll be glad to take a little break from HK for a while. I'll be posting the desk tidy soon!

you go Wonder Woman! I only made 1 box and 1 card and 1 desk tidy...and it took me a whole week! Love your clip board...is it hard to do? how'd you measure the DP so precisely? I tried and gave up....of course, I only made O-N-E!! Great job! The girls will love it!
ReplyDeleteOMG what gorgeous clipboards! You are so creative Brenda! As you know, I've been off-line for a while, so I scrolled down your blog and saw the equally gorgeous matching composition tablets. Those party girls are going to be so happy to receive those. I'd like to try and make those, my GCs would be happy to receive them. Now if they'd just turn out like yours...
ReplyDeleteLOVE these clipboards Brenda! Your daughters are so lucky to have such a wonderfully talented mom!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! These turned out great! Glad to hear you had a chance to use your Cricut for these...wasn't too bad, huh? One question, did you have to remove the hardware from the boards to decorate them or did you cut a hole in your paper to fit around it? Your work is so neat...I can't believe you made 15!
