Birthday Poodle...

My DD3 helped me with designing this card. She was very specific. She wanted a pink poodle wearing a birthday hat. I even let her choose which textured folder she wanted me to use. She chose SU's Elegant Lines. I cut the poodle out using the Cricut Create-A-Critter cartridge. For the birthday hat, I had to improvise. I just cut out a triangle, added some trim, and a button on top. Overall, I think it came out cute and we had a fun time designing it together.

C.A.T.S...

Here is the card and tag that I created for my CATS partner this month. I was partnered with Leanne and the theme for this month is red, white, & blue. Of course, I couldn't resist using my new Kiyomi stamp so I tried my best to incorporate her into the this month's color theme. I'm hoping that Leanne will like my creations as I had fun working on them!

This is the wonderful set that I received from Elena, my partner for June's CATS. Isn't this a beautiful set? Thank you Elena!

A Card For CJ...

Last weekend was our Keiki Hula Competition. DD2 was the only one in our family to participate since DD1 is now too old and DD3 is too young. The halau did a great job and made us all proud! They had a great time and that is the best part!

Here is the gift card holder that I made for CJ, our halau's soloist in the Master Keiki Competition. The inside has a pocket to hold the gift card in, but I forgot to take a picture of it. The boy in the front was created using my Cricut cartridge Simpy Charmed. He was actually supposed to be a groom, but I changed it up and made him into a hula dancer. I added a Hau skirt and some kukui nuts to make the transformation. Congrats to the girls and to CJ for a job well done!

Boy or Girl?

I used my Cricut again (boy, it's coming in handy) to create these baby cards. Actually, DD1 was the one that cut out the image and all I did was assemble everything together... now that's what you call teamwork! I made 2 versions. One will be given to our friend who just gave birth to a baby girl and the other will be given to my dad's friend who is having a baby boy. I think baby cards are one of my favorite types of cards to make!

Minnie Mouse Favors...

This is a picture of the favors that I designed to match the Minnie Mouse invites. Unfortunately, I won't be mass producing these because my friend wasn't able to collect enough baby food jars/containers. It's okay though. I still had fun creating them!

Minnie Mouse Invites...

Here is a picture of the 125 invites I made for a friend who's daughter is turning 1. Her theme for the party is Mickey/Minnie and the colors are pink/black. I used the Mickey Mouse cartridge and my DD1 so thoughtfully decided to volunteer to cut out the base of the card on the Cricut. Little did she know it would take a while, but she didn't mind... or at least that's what she said... lol! I hope my friend will like them. She is going to add on the party information to the center of the card. Check back in a couple of days to see the matching favors.

Happy Anniversary...

I just wanted to quickly share an anniversary card that I made for my hubby. Today marks our 14th anniversary! Can you believe that? Although that seems like a long time, we're actually high school sweethearts and have been together as a couple for 21 years!

Okay, back to the card. I used one of my Precious Moments stamps to create this card. It's the same image we used on our original wedding invitation. Hmm... let's see if the hubby remembers that... lol! Anyways, thanks for stopping by. I hope you all had a great 4th of July celebration!

Mass Production... lol!

Here is one of the projects that I've been working on lately. It definitely took some time to put together 180 of these little tags that will be attached to our teachers/staff welcome back gifts this coming school year! I used my Cricut to cut out the sun and it took about 3 hrs total! Yikes... I didn't realize that it would take that long, but it was because there are 3 layers to the sun. Thank goodness I still have about a month left to bag the gifts that go along with these tags.
