October OCS From Jenny...

I received my October OCS from Jenny in the mail today. To my surprise, it was filled with lots of images and even some "bling" (sorry, I forgot to take a picture of it). Isn't this such a cute card? It really puts me in the mood for Halloween! To everyone out there... please have a safe Halloween!

Turkey Treat & Thank You Card...

Since our meeting this Friday is technically for November, I decided to make little Thanksgiving treats for the group. I used the Petal Card die, crimper, and of course my handy dandy punches to make the turkey. I also used the Sweet Stems and Teeny Tiny Wishes sets.

This is a thank you card that I made for Michelle to thank her for all the Halloween goodies she gave me. I stamped the image on shrink art and used my heat gun to shrink it. I still can't believe that Halloween is this weekend! Wow... it came too fast and before you know it it'll be Christmas!

Mini Desk Organizer...

A few weeks ago, I went to a class to learn how to make the larger version of these boxes. I decided to change it a little and make the box smaller. Here is what I came up with. This will be my contribution to the Silent Auction for our upcoming Holiday Stamp Camp.

Bear Punch Art Calendar...

Here is one of the things I've been keeping myself (and my girls) busy with... making these calendars. They are for our upcoming Stamp Camp and also to be given away for Christmas gifts. For this project, I tried to make a bear with a full body so I used the same concept as I did for the Panda punch art. Happy Friday!

October OCS

Yes, I've been MIA once again. And although I've been crafting, I just haven't had the time to post to my blog. Anyways, here is my October OCS card for my partner Jenny. I figured I'd make her a Halloween card since it's right around the corner. If you haven't had the chance, please check out Jenny's blog. She has some really cute creations!

My Recipe Book...

A while back I posted a recipe book that Shelby had us make at one of our monthly meetings. Ever since then, I've been telling myself that I wanted to make one with desserts. Can you believe it? I finally sat myself down to make one. Here is my version of the recipe book. Thank you Shelby for the great idea and to Joni for letting me borrow her stamp set!

Boy Punch Art...

While checking out other people's blogs today, it dawned on me that I haven't posted a project in a while. I guess I was enjoying my long weekend a little too much... so sorry.

Anyways, a couple of people have asked me if I had any boy punch art and so that got me to thinking that I should try it out. This is what I came up with. I hope you like it... I think it still needs a little more work or something. Any suggestions? Thanks for stopping by... hopefully I'll have more to share in the coming days!

More Halloween Punch Cards...

Most of these cards were created a while back, but since Halloween is right around the corner, I figured I'd dig them out and post them. Hopefully they inspire you to create... in one way or another. My Top Note Frankenstein card didn't quite come out the way I expected though. Once I put his head on the card, there wasn't any room for anything else. Oh well, so much for trial and error, right? I'm glad that the weekend is almost here! Everyone please be safe and have a fun weekend!

Halloween Tags...

These are some Halloween tags that I made in my attempt to get a head start on some Halloween projects. I used the retired set Sweeter Treaters and the colors Gable Green/Pumpkin Pie. Coloring these images was so relaxing that I think I might just make some more!

Wonderful RAKS...

This is the RAK that I received from Michelle. She is so thoughtful and very creative too! I didn't realize how much things were inside of the tin, especially my new Mummy stamp. Can't wait to use it! Thanks again Michelle!

This adorable RAK was created by Beth. She is also a talented crafter and she's always surprising me with these kinds of goodies! I am still waiting for her to start her own blog so that she can share all her wonderful craft projects too! One of these days, right Beth? (hint..hint) :-) Thank you for always thinking of me!

This is a RAK that I received from Joni at our meeting on Friday! Look at the little Frankenstein punch art clip! She also made these clips for my guests at the Card Camp. Everyone was thinking that I made them (because of the punch art), but I have to say... I never thought of making Frank that way. Thank you Joni for everything!

I also received one more RAK that was delivered to me by Joni H (from a gathering a Denise's house). It was a RAK from Cami. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it because one of my daughters saw the goodies and dove right in. But I just wanted to say thank you to Cami for being so thoughtful! I am still waiting for the day that I will meet my other blog sisters in person... Thank you to everyone! You are all great friends!

Card Camp Welcome Sign & Favors...

These are the favors that I created for the Card Camp today. I used the Fifth Avenue Stamp Set, Cottage Wall DSP, Eyelet Border punch, Butterfly die, and Rich Razzleberry/Old Olive/Whisper White cardstock. I only glued the middle of the butterfly to the basket so that the wings could pop out. Of course, you can't really tell that in the photo... sorry. I guess I need to start having my hubby take the pictures for me since that's more of his specialty. I used some glitter on the flowers and I also stamped the tissue paper to match the basket.

This is the welcome sign that I made for today. I saw a similar one in the SU catalog and decided to tweak it a little to fit my style. Very quick and easy to make and I also tried to use the same supplies as the favors so that they would match. I hope everyone who came to the Card Camp today enjoyed themselves and learned something new. Until next time...

October Mtg. Swap & Instructions...

This is my swap for our monthly meeting tonight. The theme for our swap is Halloween cards. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the current halloween stamps sets so I decided to make something using my handy, dandy punches. Yes, you could say I've been on a "punch" kick lately. But when I have nothing to use, I always turn to my punches to see what I can create. I used the following: Web wheel, Teeny Tiny Wishes, & Family Accessories. I've included the instructions for the punch art in case you get the urge to make one of your own. Can't believe Friday is already here! Our Card Camp is tomorrow so I will be posting pictures of the cards we make, as well as the favors and welcome sign that I created. Have a great day...

More Punch Art Projects...

Mini Photo Albums...

Checkbook Covers...

Luggage Tags...

These are more quick and easy projects that I've been working on. Used some DSP, added some cardstock, and attached the punch art. Really fast to make when you don't have much time on your hands... like me! Thanks for stopping by again! Have a great day... the weekend is almost here! Yay!!!
