Sometimes I Wish I Was An Octopus...

Do you like my title? It's true! Sometimes I wish I was an octopus so that I could get even more done! LOL! Our busy life has been catching up with me and that is why I haven't been able to post as much as before. Luckily, I've still been able to craft (it keeps me sane... lol). Here is my card that I wanted to share with all of you today. A friend of mines asked me to cut out some critters for her so at the same time, I made some to use myself. Wishing you all a great work week!

End of the Year Gifts for Teachers...

Since I already had my Cricut out from making my CATS projects, I decided to use the Create-a-Critter cartridge to make cutouts. I used them to decorate these personalized composition books for some of the teachers at DD2 & DD3's school for their end of the year gift. They were so cute that I even made one for me... lol! I hope the teachers will put these to good use! I can't believe the school year is already coming to an end. It seems like only yesterday that they started.

CATS May...

Here is my card and tag that I created for this month's CATS (card and tag swap). The theme this month was to use the color combo orange, pink, and yellow. When I read that, the first thing that came to mind was sherbert ice cream. So I took out my Cricut and used the Simply Charmed cartridge to cut out these ice cream cones. I hope my partner will like these! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

Happy Mail...

Look at what I received in the mail from Cami the other day! Isn't she the best? I love the little adornment made with material. She is such an inspiration to me. Please go check out her blog to see other great ideas! Thank you Cami!

Here is a beautiful card that I received in the mail from my sweet friend Elise. She does some wonderful cards (as you can see) so if you haven't stopped by her blog, please check it out! Thank you Elise!

These beautiful earrings were made by the very talented Denise! She was so sweet to make these for my daughters, including my baby! They were very surprised and happy that their Aunty Denise thought to make them earrings! Thank you Denise!

Graduation Cards...

Have you made your graduation cards yet? I was thinking that I only had to make 2 cards, but little did I know that the final number would actually end up being 6! LOL! I really thought I only had my 2 nieces graduating, but then a few of my former students sent me their graduation announcements! And then my neighbor told me that he was graduating... ai-yai-yai! Boy do I feel old! Anyways, here are some of the cards that I made using my Cricut and the Create-A-Critter cartridge. I dressed up these critters with a graduation cap and a diploma. Happy Wednesday!

Bieber Fever...

Yes, you guessed it! My daughters all have Bieber Fever... including my baby! Just trying to make some JB things for DD2 to give to her friends... this is what I came up with: post-it note holders with pens. I decorated them using stickers since I didn't have pictures of him to punch out. I hope her friends will like these. I guess as long as JB's picture is on it, I can't go wrong! LOL! Have a great week everyone!

Sunflower Punch Art...

Here is a card that I created for my dear friend's dad. It's supposed to be a "masculine" card, but I know you're looking at the sunflowers and thinking that's not "masculine." LOL! I totally agree, but whenever I see sunflowers, it reminds me of my friend and her dad. So that's the reason for the sunflowers on his card.

As I was looking on Splitcoast, I came across a bunch of sunflower punch art that I thought would be perfect for my card. Click here to see the one I chose to CASE.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all enjoyed your Mother's Day celebrations!

Pop-up Gift Card Holder...

Here is the pop-up gift card holder that I created for DD2's teacher. I got the instructions from Craft Project Central, but actually changed some of the measurements to fit into the clear plastic envelopes. DD2 helped me to decorate the card and pretty much told me what she wanted to go on the card. I do apologize however for the picture of the front of the card. I'm not sure why the colors came out differently since I took the pictures one after the other. Oh well, live and learn right? Have a safe weekend everyone! Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog!

Mini Baskets...

Here are some baskets I created using the Frame, Oval Scallop die. The paper that I used is the Springtime Vintage DSP and various card stock. The little floral buttons are the Vintage Flower adornments from the Occassions Mini catalog. If you would like to make some of your own, click here to get the instructions. They are really quick and easy to make!

Pizza Box...

Sorry about the late post. I was feeling under the weather yesterday and didn't get around to posting anything until now. I wanted to share with all of you another pizza box, but this time I decorated it using my Bird of Paradise punch art. The sentiment is from the Fifth Avenue stamp set. Wishing you all a great week!
