Treats For Teachers...

I still can't believe that the summer is over and the kids will be starting school today! Wow! Time has really flown by! Even with limited time on my hands, I wanted to show my appreciation to my daughters' teachers and welcome them back to school! These are packs of gum that I wrapped with a 6" x 3-5/8" piece of Green Galore card stock. I scored it at 2-1/2", 2-7/8", 5-3/8", and 5-3/4" (along the long side). I glued the end tab to form the gum wrapper. The band is just a 1" strip of Summer Sun card stock that I crimped The flower was made using the Island Floral die. All I did was crumple the flower, re-open, and then stuck the brad through the center. I attached it to the band using Stampin' Dimensionals. I also used the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz on the flower, but I think I might have gotten a bit carried away with it. Enjoy your week!

I like it just the way you have it . . . boy, I'll be waking up earlier than normal now that the BOY is starting school tomorrow. I guess I better take pointers from you and steal some of your ideas to make stuff for his teacher! :) hee, hee!
