Before I start this post, I'd like to say that prayers go out to everyone that was affected by the earthquake and tsunami, especially those in Japan! My heart aches as I watch the news footage showing the devastation in Japan and condolences go out to those who lost loved ones. Here in Hawaii we were put on a tsunami warning last night and just the thought of what could possibly happen, kept me from sleeping. Fortunately, it didn't hit us as hard as it did Japan, but there were still some damages throughout the state.
Okay, time to get back to my post. Since I couldn't sleep, I decided to craft instead as I watched the news reports about the pending tsunami. I created this card using my good 'ol Cricut once again. I turned the inside of the card into a pop-up. Don't you just love the little crab holding the sign?

I'm so glad you are ok and that the tsunami didn't hit Oahu as hard as they thought. I LOVE your card and really want to try to make a pop up card myself. I'll be visiting Honolulu late April and can't wait to get back there. Stay safe!

This is what you created when you couldn't sleep? Amazing! I luv the little crab on the inside! :) Guess what I did 'cause I couldn't sleep either? NOTHING! Just watched the news . . . no crafting, but should have. Just thankful that everyone is safe and okay here in Hawaii.

I think most of us stayed up to watch what was going to happen. so scary and to think of the damage it caused Japan...we are so much smaller. we would be totally wiped out! thank goodness that we didn't get hit as hard. hope you got some sleep after that. have a good week!
