Dimensions For Post-It Desk Calendars...

Since posting these desk calendars, I've had several requests for instructions. Because I was inspired by Rose's project, I decided to ask her permission before posting the instruction on my blog even though I tweaked her dimensions a bit. It was just out of respect since it was her idea and the original instructions in her newsletter were not posted on her blog for me to add a link. Sorry, but I won't be able to individually email people the instructions but instead will post them below. Okay, enough rambling... here is my version of the instructions:

1. Score a 11" x 4-1/4" cs at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". Fold to look like a tent.
2. Add a 2-1/2" x 4" DSP to the top portion. Add a 5-1/4" x 4" DSP to the bottom portion.
3. Add the post-it note using sticky strip.
4. Score a 2" x 1-7/8" cs at 3/8", 3/4", 1-1/8" and 1-1/2". Stick the ends with sticky strip to form the holder for the pen. Add sticky strip to the bottom and back of the pen holder. Attach right above the post-it note.
5. Decorate as desired and place your pen in the holder.

This is such a quick and easy project that will make a great gift! Thank you Rose for allowing me to post the instructions on my blog and for inspiring me with your wonderful projects! If you haven't visited Rose's blog yet, please do so... you won't be disappointed!

Cocoa & Tea Holders...

Cocoa Holders... (uses the stamp set Pun Fun)

Tea Holders...

Here are some pictures of the items I made to sell at our recent Stamp Camp. I got the dimensions for the tea holders from Jane's blog... thanks Jane!

Although I love the idea of these tea holders, I'm not much of a tea drinker so I decided to create some cocoa holders instead. Luckily, everyone else liked them too and they sold out quickly! Now I need to get to work on making more for gifts. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog!

Desk Calendars...

I recently found this great blog called Rose's World and signed up for her newsletter. In one of the newsletters, Rose shared this great idea for a teacher gift/stocking stuffer. Her project only consisted of the pen and post it, but since I wanted to add on a calendar, I tweaked the dimensions a bit. I made some SU versions to sell at our recent Stamp Camp (which sold out) and I also made some other ones to give away for gifts. They were quick and easy to make and I hope the recipients will love them! Thank you Rose for sharing such a great idea!

*SU version uses the stamp set Fox & Friends.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Creative Grammie said...

Well Happy Birthday Brenda! My daughter's birthday is next week too.
My favorite place to be with my family is my house where the GCs can go in and out, play in the wading pool and eat cool-pops all day long if they want to. My favorite place to go with friends would be any restaurant where we can sit and talk story.
Hugs to you Brenda---

Thanks again for playing... Grammie, please email me so that I can get the goodies out to you soon!

Holiday Stamp Camp Goodies...

Here is the welcome sign that I created for our Holiday Stamp Camp that was held this past Sunday. To create the sign, I used the following punches for the snowman: designer label, 1-3/8" circle, 1-3/4" circle, word window, & boho blossoms. I traced a bowl to make the large circle for the top of the snowglobe sign. I used a slightly larger bowl to trace and cut out a window sheet and snipped the edges. The edges were glued down with Tombow Multipurpose glue and then I added another circle to hide all the messy stuff... hehehe! The bottom portion was cut freehand and made a base to help it stand.

Here are the clips that I made for each of my guests that attended.

These are the snowman favors that I created for all of the guests. They each hold 3 mini Kit Kat bars... one of my favorite candies! But then again, anything chocolate is my favorite!

Here are the dimensions for the favors:
-2-3/4" x 6-1/2" whisper white cs scored at 2-3/4" & 3-3/4"
-2-3/4" x 2" basic black cs; corner round the top 2 corners (2-3/4" side will be on top); this will be the hat
-1/2" x 3-1/4" basic black cs; corner round the top 2 corners; this will be the hat's trim
-1/2" x 2-3/4" daffodil delight cs for the hat
-use the boho blossoms punch to punch out the flowers for the hat; add a silver brad in the middle of the flowers; attach to hat with a stampin' dimensional
-I used the glitter brads for the nose along with some 3/8" googly eyes.
-The mouth was created with circles punched out with the Crop-A-Dile (smaller circle)
-I used a small piece of velcro to close the 2 ends of the whisper white cs to hold the candy.

Here are the projects that the guests created: tags & pouch, luminaria, mini gift bag, and gift card holder. Thanks for sticking with me through this long post!

My November OCS...

This is the card that I created for my sweet partner Kim! Our task was to create a holiday card so I decided to create a punch art Christmas tree using my big shot die. The tree is decorated with some dew drops and trimming made with the scallop edge punch. The card slides to open (see below). Thanks again for stopping by!

My Little Crab...

I wanted to make thank you card for Kris since I won her sweet blog candy. But she also asked me if I could create a crab punch art so I decided to combine the two tasks and make a card with the crab punch art. The sand castle was created with scrap pieces that I punched with the spiral border punch. Below is a picture of how I created the crab...

Thanks for stopping by! Sorry, I haven't been posting as often as I would like. I've been quite busy lately, but hopefully I can get back to posting more.

A Card For Tanner...

One of the little boys in my daycare celebrated his birthday this past Halloween. So I decided to use the stamp that I got from Joy (thanks Joy) to create the card to go along with his gift. I used a scrap piece of DSP that fortunately, had the same colors that I used to color my image. Note to self... color the image after choosing the DSP... hehehe! Hope you are all having a great week!

CPC Projects and Some News...

This is one of the projects that I designed for Craft Project Central this month. It's an Angel Gift Box & Punch Art Page.

Deck the Halls Gift Bag designed by Shelby...

Pumpkin Crunch Cake Recipe Page also designed by Shelby...

And for the news...

Some of you might have already heard, but I decided to take a break from CPC. So unfortunately, November will be my last month creating with the DT. But don't worry, it doesn't mean that I won't be crafting anymore. I will be sure to squeeze in some time for crafting!
