Here is a picture of the surprise I received in the mail the other day. Joni at Crafty Hula Hands was sweet enough to send me some digital images and a cute mini folder to hold them. Thanks Joni! All I can say is that she has perfect timing. I really needed something to cheer me up because earlier this week I got some sad news about a dear friend of mine who is fighting ALS (a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's Disease). I went to see her last night to say my final good-bye and that was one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do in my life. I am so glad that I was given that opportunity. She has taught me to never take life for granted and always appreciate the life that God has given you...no matter what He puts in your path!
I hope that you can find comfort in the loving memories of your friend. Crafting will help you through the tough times. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI went through that with two very close friends this year, but visiting them weekly until they passed brought closure and peace within. Take it easy and enjoy life.
