Some Sad News To Share...





Just wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a break from my blog & crafting. My lil' crafting buddy, Kira, went to be with the angels this past Saturday. She was on the road to recovery from a really bad kidney infection as I had shared before, but then she had a relapse. She was diagnosed with Kidney/Renal Failure on Thursday and a few days later she lost her battle. I am very saddened by our loss, but am comforted by the thought that she is in a better place and no longer suffering. I don't know when I will be able to bring myself back to crafting without her by my side. It's been hard, but hopefully I can get into the mood to craft soon especially with the holidays right around the corner.

    Aww Brenda I'm so sorry to hear about Kira. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. When you are feeling up to it and decide to do a layout of Kira, I would love to see it. BTW, I love the top picture of her. BIG HUGE HUGS!!!

    I am so very sorry to hear this news. I know how devastated our family was a few months ago when our beloved Eliza, our kitty of more than 15 years, passed away. I still miss her every day and forget and look around for her before I remember...... my prayers are with you.

    hopefully it won't be long before you will again be crafting with happier memories of her by your side. sending hugs your way!

    Oh Brenda, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. As I write this I'm crying as I know the sadness of losing a family pet.

    I too am so sorry to hear of your loss. It will take time, and it won't be easy at first but you will learn to go on. Give yourself time to heal. Our pets are such a part of us and who we are... Let your heart heal ... And when you are ready your craft supplies will still be there. Jackie

    I am so sorry to hear about Kira. It is always so hard to lose one of our furry family members. I'm really sad because Kira really looks like my Blackie girl that I lost a number of years ago.

    We understand and will here waiting for you when you're ready to come back to blogland.

    Oh no!!! I'm sooo sorry for your loss! I understand completely though; I'm a huge cat lover too. When I lost my Sasha (my shadow practically), it was hard for me to craft as well.

    Having been through it though, I can tell you that is DOES help, if you can force yourself to get in there. Yes there will be tears and memories....but also healing. And you know she'd want you to!

    My sympathy to your loss (Kira), I can relate to your feelings, I too had lost my cat of 17 years but he died of old age and he is buried in front of my kitchen window and my HB made him a little cat sculpture, his been gone for 5 years now... So everytime we sit in the dining area his out their watching us....
    It hurts but time will take it's course and you be back into the swing because Kira will always be their in your craft space watching over.....

    Oh Brenda, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Kira. I can only imagine what you are going through right now. Our pets are really our children and I don't know what I would do if I lost my Peaches as she's always with me, like a shadow. Take time to recover from the loss. My heart is with you.

    Condolences on the lose of your Kira. Pets do hold a special place in our hearts forever. Make something crafty to remind yourself of her and keep it next to your craft space then she will always be by your side! :)
