Coupon Holders...

I am back... again, but first I wanted to wish you all a belated "Happy Thanksgiving!" I hope that all of you had a nice, relaxing time with friends & family. And for those of you who were brave enough to head to the stores on Black Friday, I hope that you got what you went there for. We, on the other hand, decided to avoid the crowded malls and spent some well deserved QT with the family. Okay, let's get back to my project that I wanted to share with you today.

Here is a book that I created for some wonderful friends. I finally dusted off my BIA machine and created this book w/pockets. I made one for myself and use it to hold my coupons when I go shopping. But as you can see, I decided to leave the tabs blank in case the recipients want to use it to hold other things. I used my Big Shot to cut out the Hello Kitty and the SU tab punch for the tabs, along with some various DSP. Thanks for taking the time out to check out my project!

Happy Girl's Day...

Here are the treats that I made for my girls' teachers. They are filled with individually wrapped mochi. To make these boxes, I used the Box #2 die. I added a half piece of the Clear Circle die to the top and trimmed off the excess. The stamp set I used is Kimono Kids. For the lantern punch art, I used the 1-3/8" circle punch, stamped some cherry blossoms on top, and then crimped it. I also added a piece of 3/4" black circle to the top and bottom along with some cord on top. I hope these treats put a smile on their faces! Happy Girl's Day everyone!

Cupcakes Anyone?

A friend asked me to help her design invites for a shower she is planning. The theme is cupcakes and the color combo she wanted was pink/brown. This is what I came up with. The little cupcake was created using the scallop circle punch and a square piece of cs that was crimped. The big cupcake was actually made by using a stamp and cutting it up to create a pattern. I then used the pattern to trace and cut out on the cs. I ran the bottom of the cupcake through the crimper and the top of the cupcake was run through the big shot using my texture folders. Coaster Scrapbook...

This is the last of my New Year's Eve projects that I have to share with you. I still can't believe that I got so much done in one night. I created this as a gift for someone celebrating their birthday this month. I am hoping that she will like it. It was pretty simple putting together, just a matter of using my big shot dies and texture folders. At the rate that I've been using my big shot, you would be surprised to know that I was very hesitant to spend all that money on the machine thinking I wouldn't be using it as much. Guess you can say that I'm definitely getting my monies worth! LOL!

Another Boy Card...

I created this card for one of the little boy's in my daycare that will be turning one soon. His theme for his party is "Cars" so I used some stickers to decorate the card. I tried to keep it simple and created a shaker card for him. I also used my textured folders for the background. I sure hope that SU comes out with more texture folders because these are really fun to use! Thanks for stopping by... have a great day!

Happy Birthday Zeke...

Here is another card that I created on New Year's Eve...

It's a birthday card that I created for my nephew Ezekiel. He is turning one this month and I just love how this image had a cupcake with one candle... perfect! I was a little stumped at first trying to make a "boy" card and didn't want to over do it with the embellies. So I decided to use my texture folder for the base of the card and my top note die. I also added some ribbon and buttons hoping to make it look a little more "fun." Hope you all have a great weekend!

Altered Notepad...

While doing the normal routine of cleaning out things before the new year, I found more items in my craft box to alter. This mini folder contains a notepad and pen. At first I wanted to cover it completely with DP, but I couldn't figure out the best way to do it so I decided to just decorate the cover. As you can see, I'm still working on my coloring as well as using my big shot dies and texture folders! They sure come in handy!

Another Little Box...

This box was created using the Bitty Box & Envelope die and the Big Shot. I used a strip of Sending Love Specialty DSP and Pretty in Pink cs (punched with the Pinking Hearts Border). This image is another digi which is perfect so that I could shrink it to fit the cover of the box. Have a great weekend!

Mini Milk Carton...

I created this little project using the Mini Milk Carton die. I wrapped it with a piece of Sending Love Specialty DSP and some Chocolate Chip cs in which I used the Pinking Hearts border punch. For the flower I used the Flower Daisies #2 die and cut out 2 of the smallest flowers. I curled back the petals and added a 1/2" Pretty in Pink circle to the center.

Meeting Favors...

These are some samples of the favors I made to pass out at our meeting this Friday. They are actually the same type of baby food containers I used to make the Hello Kitty version out of. I don't think I'll be making swaps for this meeting because I still need to finish those PTO tags. Below is a list of the items I used:
