Birthday Easel Card...

I created this mini easel card using an image that my niece drew. My niece is very talented when it comes to drawing and I wish her the best of luck as she begins college to major in graphic design.

Whoops, back to the card. The card measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/4". I wasn't really planning on making it that small, but I actually started off with the white scallop square that I had left over from another project. I worked my way around the scallop square and that is how the card evolved. Isn't it funny how things come together from one little thing? The sentiment that I used is from the SU set Petite Pairs. Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Zeke...

Here is another card that I created on New Year's Eve...

It's a birthday card that I created for my nephew Ezekiel. He is turning one this month and I just love how this image had a cupcake with one candle... perfect! I was a little stumped at first trying to make a "boy" card and didn't want to over do it with the embellies. So I decided to use my texture folder for the base of the card and my top note die. I also added some ribbon and buttons hoping to make it look a little more "fun." Hope you all have a great weekend!

Cards From DD4's Party...

Here is a picture of the handmade cards that were given to my baby at her 1st birthday party last month. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate and to those who sent birthday wishes!

This is the book that Naoko made for Brielle. As soon as she opened it, she took off with it. Of course Mommy was right behind her making sure that she didn't damage it! What can I say, she loves books!

This is the bag that Michelle used to hold Brielle's gift. All she did was add some ribbon and a Hello Kitty cut out, but look how cute the bag is now!

Thanks for all the great ideas and for inspiring me to create. Now all I need to do is find the time to do it... hehehe!
