Girl's Day Treats...
In the midst of the Tsunami warning that Hawaii had yesterday, I found some time to craft. I was actually pretty productive and crossed 2 craft projects off my list... woohoo! I used my big shot to cut out these scallop bags and stamped it with my cherry blossom stamp. I didn't have any sentiments for girl's day, so I stamped "just for you" on the front. Filled it with candy, tied the bow, and then I was done. Super quick... and of course I had a few extra hands that helped me... hehehe!

Cheerleader & Whale Punch Art Instructions...
Here are the instructions that I made for the Cheerleader Punch Art that I created a few months ago for Joni's birthday card (yup, that was back in November). Someone recently asked me to post the instructions, so I finally sat down to create the instruction page the other night.
I also had a special request to create a whale using my punches. This is what I came up with. Hope she likes it!

Stamp Camp Welcome Sign & Favors...
Here is the welcome sign that I created for our Sale-A-Bration Stamp Camp that was held yesterday. I used circle coasters and the Beautiful Wings embosslit to decorate the sign.
Here is the favor that I created for everyone. I used my 5-Petal Flower punch and punched out 6 flowers. I crumpled them up, opened them up, and used my paper piercer to make the hole for the brad. I also used the Bitty Box & Envelope die to cut the boxes out on the Big Shot. After making 100 of these favors, I think I've seen enough flowers for a while. And amazingly, my punch still works after punching out 600 flowers!
Krista's February Project...

Birthday Card & Template...
Some of you have asked for a tutorial, but since I really need to start working on my daughter's 1st bday invites, I decided to give you the template instead. I made this card last night as I was trying to redo the dimensions on the template so that the card would be able to fit in a regular sized envelope.
Here is the inside of the card.
This is the template for the card. I think it is called a Double Display Card. Like I mentioned before, I altered the measurements so that the card would fit in a regular envelope. The final size of this card when folded is 4" x 5 1/2". The one I made for Michelle had to be placed in a 5" x 7" envelope since the size of that card was a 4" x 6".
First, score the long side of your 5 1/2" x 12" card stock at 2", 4", 8", & 10". Then go back and score it at 1", 5", 7", & 11" (1" deep). Turn the card stock and score the opposite side at the same dimensions.
Next, cut from the end of the 1" scoreline to the end of the 5" scoreline (dotted lines in template). Then cut from the end of the 7" scoreline to the end of the 11" scoreline (dotted lines in template). Turn your cardstock and repeat on the opposite side.
Measurements for the DSP are as follows...
Top DSP Size: 7/8" x 10 7/8" (cut at 10", 9 1/8", 7 1/4", 6 3/8", 4 1/2", 3 5/8", 1 3/4", & 7/8").
Middle DSP Size: 3 3/8" x 11 3/8" (cut at 9 1/2", 7 5/8", 3 3/4", & 1 7/8").
Bottom DSP Size: same as the top DSP.
Note: keep them in the order that you cut it.
Please email me if you have any questions... Have fun creating!
Baby Food Jar & Holder...
I have lots of baby food jars that I've recycled so I'm trying to find a good use for them. Here is what I came up with. Made these as a little birthday treat for someone special. Hope she liked it. If I haven't said it before, I think I'm starting to get addicted to these digital images. I love the way they can be sized to meet your needs! I need to start playing around more with my MDS. But before I do, I need to finish up my baby's 1st birthday invites... Yikes! Time is sure flying by!

My February OCS...
Here is the front of the card...
Here is the inside of the card that I created for Michelle for this month's OCS! When I found out that she was my partner, I automatically thought I would make something Hello Kitty for her. But when she gave me my OCS (see below)... how could I top that? So the pressure was on to create something great for her. This is what I came up with. I thought making this type of card would be difficult, but it was really pretty simple (thanks Jane for the dimensions). I know that Michelle loves the pink/brown combo so I tried to use it... hope I didn't over do it. I also created this punch art especially for Michelle (she's my inspiration for this one) cause I wanted this card to be really special! I will post the instructions for this punch art later... still need to make it.
This is the beautiful card that I received from Michelle for my OCS! It's shaker card and my first one too! Love it so much. Look at the little HK shrink art! How cute is that? If you haven't already checked out Michelle's blog... you really need to hurry on over there, especially if you're a huge HK fan! Thanks for sticking with me through this long post. Have a great day!

Bunny Milk Carton...
While creating this little project, it brought back memories of when I was teaching in the classroom. I remember having the parents bring in milk cartons for the kids to turn into easter baskets. Hmmm.... maybe I should make the bigger version with my daycare. Anyways, this project was created using the Mini Milk Carton die, Pinking Hearts Border punch, Large Oval punch, Small Oval punch, and the Heart to Heart punch. It's just the right size if you wanted to make little favors to give away for Easter. I know, we just celebrated Valentine's Day and already I'm talking about Easter. But when you have 4 kids, you really need to "think ahead" when it comes to crafting... if you know what I mean... LOL! Wishing you all a great week!

Mini Milk Carton...
I created this little project using the Mini Milk Carton die. I wrapped it with a piece of Sending Love Specialty DSP and some Chocolate Chip cs in which I used the Pinking Hearts border punch. For the flower I used the Flower Daisies #2 die and cut out 2 of the smallest flowers. I curled back the petals and added a 1/2" Pretty in Pink circle to the center.

Mini Origami Butterfly Box...
This little box was made with the Origami Box folding technique using (2) 6" x 6" pieces of Sending Love Specialty DSP. I also used the following punches: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. This is a really quick project to make and if you want a bigger box, all you need to do is use a bigger piece of DSP. This box actually measures about 2" x 2".
