My April OCS...
Here is the outside of the OCS card that I made for my partner Enjoli! This is a magic card and I got the tutorial off of Splitcoast. At first I thought it would be hard to make, but the only hard part was trying to stamp the image on the window sheet (it kept sliding). Other than that the instructions were pretty simple to follow. I tried to incorporate pink & green as I remembered that it was one of her favorite color combos.
This is what it looks like when you pull the top up. The image "magically" appears colored!
This is the inside of the card. I added in my punch art cupcake since it matched the DP I used.
This is the beautiful card that Enjoli sent me! It's a shaker card! I hung it up over my craft area so that I would be reminded of all my wonderful blogging sisters out there! It will also remind me that one day I need to make a shaker card too... LOL! Please make sure you stop by her blog! She creates some amazing projects/cards!
This is the side view of her card. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the inside where she stamped a sentiment.
This is the wonderful RAK she sent me! Look at all these goodies! She even sent me a TSRD stamp, but it's clear so it's hard to see in the picture! I can't wait to use these!

Sonya's April Project...
Sonya created this Wedding Ensemble for Craft Project Central! This would come in handy for those of you who are planning a wedding, but can easily be changed to fit a birthday theme, etc. Thanks Sonya!
Teacher Appreciation Desk...
I can't believe that it's been a couple of days since I've sat down to work on some crafts. This weekend, as busy as it was, I decided to clean out my kids' dressers/closets and since then I've been in the cleaning mode. I didn't realize how much clothes my girls had... OMG! Four girls= a whole lot of clothes! So I decided it was time to purge through the clothes that either didn't fit or they didn't wear. Now all I need to do is prep it for donation (along w/some other stuff) and I'll be done! I also noticed that as I stopped by some of my blogging sisters sites, I found out that they have been doing some cleaning as well. Guess it must be that time of the year, huh?
Anyways, let's move on to my project. Since Teacher Appreciation Week at DD2's school is coming up soon, I figured I'd better get started on some gifts. I got the instructions for this desk from Craft Project Central and it was designed by Michelle. I had to alter it a bit since I didn't have the stamp set she used and also didn't have buttons for the drawers. I added in a vase with flowers too (got the idea from Tammy)! When I first saw this desk I was so happy because at that time I was wondering what to make for a few of the teachers... this was PERFECT! Now my next crafting task is to make 5 more of these and then I'll be done!

PTO Tags...
Here are pictures of the tags that I created that will be attached to the Teacher Appreciation Week gifts... all 170 of them! I tried to use some bright colors to make them cheerful and of course used one of my favorite sets... Fox & Friends. As you can see, they are very simple tags, because when you're making them in bulk... simple is the only way to stay sane! Well, it's another busy weekend for our family, but I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks for stopping by!

Card For A Sweet Little Boy...
This is the card I made for my friend's son who celebrated his first birthday this past Sunday. Is it just me, or is it hard to make cards for boys? I'm guessing it's probably just me... hehehe! I know it's a little plain, but I didn't know what else to add on. Any suggestions for next time?
BTW: please bear with me as I'm still learning the proper way to color these images, but first I need to get more copics. So until then, I'm just making do with what I have... TGIF!

Hello Kitty Decorations...
These are pictures of some wood cut outs that my friend Faye made for my baby's 1st birthday party. We used them to decorate the stage. There are actually 7 different cut outs but it looks like 8 since one of the HK appears in both pictures. She really wanted to make these for the party and I would of helped her, but my to do list was already pretty long. So after I chose 7 of my favorite images, she enlarged the images and traced them onto the wood. Her hubby was sweet enough to cut them out and make stands for them too. Thank you Faye and Todd! Everyone loved them!

Recipe Book Cover & Card...
My friend Joni was recently awarded Teacher of the Year for my DD2's school. She is a great teacher and we have been blessed to have met her when DD1 was in her Kindergarten class.
I wanted her to know how proud we were of her so I decided to give her something from the heart. I created a recipe book with 10 dessert recipes from the school's recipe book. I hope to one day add more recipes to the book. Congratulations Joni!
This is the card that I created to go along with the recipe book. Of course I just needed to use the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt embellies... they are so easy to use! Stay tuned tomorrow to see some of the recipe pages that I designed. I will post the recipes a little at a time so that you won't get bored.

Tic Tac Holders...
I got the file from Claudette for these Tic Tac Holders a while back, but only recently had the chance to sit down and make them. It's really easy to make because all you do is print them out, cut it, attach it to the tic tac container, and tie with a ribbon. I love the colors on these and actually it's a set of 4. Sorry, but I forgot to take a picture of the others.
I also decided to use the tic tac holder printouts and make them into a basket. I used 2 cutouts and attached it to a box that I made out of card stock. It was a 5-1/4" x 5" piece of card stock scored at 1" & 4-1/4" on the 5-1/4" side. I also scored it at 2" & 3" on the 5" side. The handle is just a scrap piece of card stock and I used some left over HK from my baby's first birthday. Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a great week!

Jane & Krista's April Projects...
This pretty little project was designed by Jane and comes in plenty of time for you to duplicate for Mother's Day! When you see the instructions, you'll see that it's actually two gifts in one! Thanks Jane!
This mini album created by Krista would make a lovely Mother's Day gift or you can change the theme and give it as a gift to a child, relative, friend... Thanks Krista!

Little Trucks...
Last month, when I needed a break from party preparations, I decided to dig through some of my retired sets and found the set called "Little Trucks." This is the card I created. I embossed the image and then colored them in with my Stampin' Write Markers. Very simple, but I like to prep things in advance and take them with me while I wait for my girls at their hula or karate practices. Crafting makes the time go by quicker...

Easter RAKS...
This post is definitely long overdue, but I wanted to thank all these wonderful people for these Easter RAKS that I received.
This beautiful PM card and flowers was given to me by Shirley. I just love looking at this card each day as it reminds me of all the wonderful people that I have met through my blog! Plus, I love the PM image cause I'm a collector of PM figurines too!
This cute little bag was created by Michele. It is so funny to receive this bag of goodies because I made her a similar bag for Easter too. What can I say, great minds think alike, huh?
This cute basket was made by the one and only Mama! I was so lucky to finally meet her in person. Of course she caught me crafting while waiting for my oldest to finish karate. Hey, when you have 4 kids, you need to squeeze in crafting whenever you get the chance...LOL! Mama, I feel like I've known you forever!
This Sweet Pea basket was created by Kristina. She was my daughter's summer school teacher last year and DD2 became very attached to her even though she only had her as a teacher for a few weeks. So every occassion, my DD2 asks me to make a little treat for her to show her appreciation.
This HK bookmarker and images came from Joni. She's another great teacher up at DD2's school and I am so blessed to have become great friends with her and her family.
Here's another basket that I received in the mail from Joni H. This basket isn't that big, but you should see all the goodies she stuffed into it! Thanks Joni! It was such a great surprise!
These HK goodies was given to me from Beth... another great teacher at DD2's school. Yes, they definitely have a great bunch of teachers up at the school. That's why I decided to volunteer my time next year to Chair the Teacher Appreciation Committee! I know, what was I thinking, huh? Well, the way I figure it is if the teachers & staff go above and beyond their duties to make sure that our children get the best education they deserve, then I'm sure I can squeeze a bit of time out of my busy schedule to show our appreciation for them.
Thanks for sticking with me through this long post and all my ramblings... Happy Tuesday!

My Baby's Party Favors & Centerpiece...
The past week has been a busy one and although I would have like to been crafting other projects, I needed to finish prepping things for my baby's first birthday party that was held yesterday. One of the things that needed to be done was to finish the 200+ favors for the guests! Everyone kept saying that they "can't wait to see the favors." Hope they didn't get disappointed that these were pretty simple. Let me tell you, I was dreaming of Hello Kitty the night I finished them...LOL! Then of course my 6 year old daughter reminded me that she wants her birthday party (next month) to be Hello Kitty too! Don't get me wrong, I love Hello Kitty, but I think I need a break for a bit...hehehe! But I guess I need to suck it up and do what all moms do... give their kids what they want.
Here is a picture of one of the centerpieces for the party. Luckily I only needed to make 6 of these since the other centerpieces were Hello Kitty banks, lunch bags, and other HK stuff. For this project, I used my big shot to cut HK out from my decor elements vinyl. I stuck HK to each side of the jar (which I got from Wal-Mart) and filled it with some HK marshmallow candy.
Well, thanks for stopping by. Now that the party is over, I need to catch up with posting my Easter raks and our last mtg. swaps/project. Have a great week!

Simple Flower Punch Art...
Sorry, I've been quite busy with party preparations, so I've had little time to craft. Here is a quick set of instructions that I'd like to share with you today. It's a simple flower punch art that was inspired by my children's art. You would be amazed at what children come up with... they are bursting with imagination! Wishing you a "Happy Wednesday!"

Easter Treats For Some Hula Sisters...
Here are some Easter treats that I made for my daughters to give to their Keiki Hula Sisters. I used the Bag w/Scallops die to cut out the frame and used my large oval punches to make the eggs out of DSP. The grass was made with my MS punch and the sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

More Chick Baskets...
I finally got around to making more of these baskets that Teri taught me how to make. Although I didn't have the bigger scallop circle (like the one we used) my chick still came out looking pretty cute! Thanks again Teri for such a cute idea!
I also want to wish my little baby chick (DD4) a happy first birthday! I can't believe she's one already! They grow up too fast!
