Sonya's & Jacque's March Projects...

Sonya created this cute Fox & Friends Card Portfolio for Craft Project Central. This is one of my favorite sets. Love the little animals! If you don't have this set, just switch the stamp set and make it your own! Thank you Sonya!

Jacque created this technique page. It gives you instructions on how to do the Dazzling Diamond Dust Technique. I can't wait to try this one out! Thank you Jacque! Head on over to Craft Project Central to check them out!

A Sweet Gift From A Sweet Friend...

Michelle sent me this beautiful card and stamp as a thank you for the gift I gave her for her birthday. She is always so thoughtful and generous. It's her birthday and she's giving me something in return. Thank you Michelle! I really appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Joy's OCS & Easter Goodies...

This is the OCS that I received from Joy. I was lucky enough to have her as my partner this month! I saw this card on her blog and of course, like everything else she posts, I thought it was adorable! Little did I know that she would be sending this to me!

This is the side view of the card. I love how the image hangs in the center... too cute!

She also was sweet enough to send me this box of Easter goodies! Thank you Joy for the adorable card and goodies. I can't wait to use them!

Blog Candy Win...

This posting is long overdue and I really apologize. A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win 2 blog candy giveaways.

This blog candy was being offered in celebration of Kris' birthday! Lucky me, I won all these HK goodies in time to use it for my baby's party. For those of you who might remember, I posted the invites for her party. Well I used my HK embosslit and I guess you could say that it is no longer usable. So lucky for me, I won another HK embosslit to replace the one I pretty much killed. Thank you Kris for all these goodies and I hope (actually I know) you had a great birthday!

The second blog candy that I won was from Tammy. She was offering a free pass to Ustamp and I was lucky enough to win it. Thank you Tammy!

Cupcake Punch Art Instructions...

Here is one of my favorite punch art that I created. It's a delicious little cupcake topped with a cherry... hehehe! I actually used this cupcake on a card that I made for Kris to wish her a happy birthday. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent it in the mail. Oh well, maybe next time I make something I'll remember to take a picture of it. Have a great weekend!

Pencil Holders...

I found a couple more of those glass jars that I wanted to turn into pencil holders for some fellow blog sisters. The first one was made using a decor elements flower, layered with a couple more flowers and a buttom on top. I just love how the colors contrast...

The next one I just had to decorate with Miss Hello Kitty of course (and some decor elements)! Don't you just love the pink and green color combo? You know, people always ask me what my favorite color is and I just can't seem to decide. I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes it's lavender. Sometimes it's pink. Then there's times when I like green or blue. I think what it actually comes down to is that I'm just kind of a "pastel" kind of person. Hope you enjoy your day!

Michelle's March Project...

Look at what Michelle created for Craft Project Central this month! Aren't these so adorable? I guess you already know that with 4 girls in the house, I'll be making a whole bunch of these! Thanks Michelle... I love these! Check out Craft Project Central for more ideas!

Little Piggy Tablet...

This was such a quick project to put together. I decorated this little composition tablet with one of my punch art piggy. To make the piggy, I used the following punches: word window, 5-petal flower, 1/2" circle, 3/4" circle, 1 1/4" circle, and 1 3/8" circle. I also used some Melon Mambo card stock and some DP that was given to me by Michelle (thanks Michelle)!

My March OCS For Joy...

Here is the card I created for Joy since she was my OCS partner this month. When I found out that Joy was my partner, I was super excited, but at the same time a bit nervous. Man, talk about pressure. She is so creative and puts so many details in her projects. Hope she liked the card I created especially for her.

This card actually started off as a simple origami card, but then I got to thinking that I had to step it up a bit and decided to turn it into a picture frame card. Through a friend's suggestions (thanks again Michelle...hehehe), I was able to print out some pictures of Joy and her daughter Tae to include in my card. It's a little on the simple side and I would have liked to put more details to it, but if I did I don't think I would have been able to close the card...LOL! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments! I really appreciate hearing what you have to say...

Anyways, here's another cute recipe page to put in your book! This CPC project was created by Shelby. Don't you just love her punch art? I surely do! What an imagination. Thank you Shelby! Don't forget to stop by Craft Project Central for more ideas!

My Card Box...

Okay, I am so glad that I can finally check this one off my "things to do list" for my baby's 1st birthday party. When I first saw Sonya's cake that she created for Craft Project Central, it gave me an idea... why not make one with Hello Kitty? Although Sonya's cake is created with styrofoam, I created my cake so that I could use it as the card box for my baby's party.

To make this cake, I trace the tops of 2 different sizes of my tupperware bowls onto cardboard. I cut out the sides of the cake from cardboard too and attached them together with clear packing tape. I also cut a slit in the back of the bottom layer for the cards to go in. I then wrapped it with wrapping paper and used my hot glue gun to glue the 2 layers together. The very bottom of the cake is just a piece of cardboard that I covered with foil. When the cake was formed, it was time to finally decorate it. Each day I added new elements to it. I used flowers that I created with my Stampin' Up! dies and also some flowers, beads, & ribbons that I purchased from a local store. I hope you like it! This by far is definitely the biggest craft project I've worked on. It was fun, but a bit time consuming. Maybe in my next life I should be a cake decorator...

Krista's March Project...

Krista created this darling Scallop Circle Wall Hanging for Craft Project Central this month. Head on over there and check out the other projects too... Thanks for stopping by!

Sympathy Cards...

The other week my Mom needed 2 sympathy cards and asked me to make them for her. Of course I couldn't tell her no, so this is what I came up with. I wanted the cards to put a smile on the receiver's faces so I decided to use the Pretty In Pink/Certainly Celery and Rose Red/Old Olive color combos.

Check back tomorrow to see a project that kept me pretty busy all weekend long! I think it's the biggest project I've ever worked on... yet!

Easter Projects and RAKS...

This will be a long post, but I'm hoping you'll stick with me.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to attend Teri's Easter class. We made 2 projects which I'll show you in a little bit. First I wanted to share this bunny basket that I made to pass out to the girls in the class. I used the Fun Faces II (retired set) for the bunny's face along with my small oval, large oval, heart to heart, and 1 3/4" circle punch. The container is actually a baby food container. You all know how I love to recycle these cause they always come in handy... hehehe! Anyways, I crimped some card stock to cover the sides of the containers and added a strip for the handle.

This was is the first project that we created at Teri's yesterday. I am hoping to make some of these for Easter if time permits.

This was the second project that we made. Teri had everything pre-cut so it was such a quick project to make!

This little rak was created by Joni. It holds a cocoa packet inside... what a great idea! Thanks Joni!

This adorable butterfly basket was created by Jodi (whom I was lucky enough to finally meet in person). Thanks Jodi! It was so nice to meet you!

This cute Hello Kitty bag was given to me by Janis. The funny thing is that I bought a bunch of these for my baby's first birthday and was hoping that I would have enough so that I could keep one for myself. Now I don't need to worry cause I have my very own... thanks Janis!

Thanks for stopping by. I had lots of fun and it was a well-deserved break from my hectic schedule. I really am glad for the opportunity to craft with some of the local bloggers. I am looking forward to attending another one of Teri's classes and my daughter is excited to go back again to look for butterflies and lizards! Thank you Teri!

Zeva's March Project...

Jane's March Project...

Here's a sneak peek at the Coffee Cozy project that Jane created this month for Craft Project Central. This would make a great gift for co-workers, teachers, etc. Love the color combo that she chose for the cozies! What a great idea! Guess I need to go take my sewing machine out!

Check out Craft Project Central for more ideas...

My Baby's Invite...

Here is the outside of the invitation I created for my baby's 1st birthday! I made 90+ invites and yes, I cut the purse out by hand. I also had to cut the white oval by hand since I couldn't find a die that size. What was I thinking, huh? I hope my guests will like the invitation... my next project to tackle is my favors. Hello Kitty here I come!

Altered Clipboards...

I decorated these clipboards using some scrapbook paper, card stock, and of course some Decor Elements vinyl! I kept them really simple and left out the ribbons because they will actually be used as clipboards rather than sit around as decoration. Hope you like them... again this is another great idea from Naoko! Thanks Naoko!

Decor Elements Vinyl...

I decorated this little container for Michelle using my HK sizzlits and Decor Elements Vinyl. Naoko gave me this great idea of using the vinyl with the HK dies... thanks Naoko! Hmmm... what can I decorate with the vinyl next?

Kim, Jenn, & Michelle P. brought these treats for all of us at the meeting. Thank you ladies!
