Cherry Blossoms...

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get some cherry blossom scrapbook paper either locally or online. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know... thanks!

Tin w/Mini Notebook

I used an image that Michelle so generously gave me and created this tin for my friend's daughter (she plays soccer). Sorry, now that I think of it , I was so eager to give it to her that I forgot to take a picture of the matching mini composition tablet that I put inside. Anyways, I used the Whimsical Lower Alphabet stamp set, SU Kaleidoscope DSP, and Pink Passion/Summer Sun cardstock. Oh well, it's another one of those busy weekends in our household. We're having a pool party tonight for our 4 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday. I can't believe how fast they grow....

Panda Punch Art

After seeing Teri's card with the adorable Quickutz Panda on her blog: Big Ideas From A Little Girl, I was inspired to create one out of punches. I figured that I would incorporate it into my card swap for our September Pacific Stampers meeting and "kill two birds with one stone." I know its early to make my swaps, but I wanted to get that off my "to do list." I actually should be concentrating on making our upcoming Stamp Camp favors and also some favors for my hubby's co-worker's wedding, but decided to work on this instead. I used the Cottage Wall DSP and the Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Basic Black, & Whisper White cardstock for this card. I will post instructions for the panda, not sure when, but hopefully soon cause I really should focus on making the favors. Thanks for stopping by....

RAK from Michelle

Yesterday, Michelle of Mushi's Creative Inspirations stopped by to drop off some images that she had stamped for me. Little did I know that she was going to bring me a little surprise as well! She gave me this beautiful card (love the color combo) and this cute little Hello Kitty pendant! She always makes the cutest things... please check out her blog if you haven't done so yet! Thanks for everything Michelle!

August Card Swaps, Mtg. Project, & more...

This past Friday we had our monthly meeting at Jacque's and it was great to hear all about Convention. Sonya was sweet enough to bring back Convention pens for us... thank you Sonya! I forgot to take a picture of it because I already put in my purse. Lorinne was also thinking of us "non-convention" people and was nice enough to bring back these SU reusable bags... thank you Lorinne!

Here are the swaps from the meeting...

Build-a-Bear Card

This is my card swap for tonight's meeting. I'm kind of thinking that maybe there might not be a lot of people swapping because most of them just came back from the SU convention this week. Hopefully I'm wrong...

This card was made using the new SU Build-a-Bear die along with the SU Beary Essentials die. When I saw it in the holiday mini I just couldn't wait to use it! I know the card is really simple, but after putting on the bear, I couldn't fit anything else. The bear is bigger than I thought it would be, but that's okay he's still cute! I also used the Beary Nice Wishes, Family Accessories, & Just Basketball stamp set. The colors I used were Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Going Gray, Chocolate Chip, & Really Rust. Thanks for stopping by... hope you all have a great weekend!

Mini Composition Tablets

Sorry I've been M.I.A. and haven't posted in a while. I have my niece and nephew visiting from Las Vegas so we've been trying to spend time with them... which actually means "not much time for stamping." Any how, I tried to squeeze in a little bit today and was actually very productive. Here is a picture of some mini composition tablets that I found at Target. I covered them with cardstock and SU DSP and used the GG images that Kyoko gave me... hope the rest of the week will be a good one!

Magnetic Notepads & Gift Card Holders

These are pictures of the magnetic notepads and gift card holders that I have been busy working on. I guess for me I can be quite productive when I have a lot of things on my mind. My 3 year old daughter helped me with these projects. She loves to peel the sticky strip and the dimensionals and I'm all for that (one less thing that I need to do, right?). Hope you like these projects as they were very quick and easy to make. Now I'm off to finish up my swaps for this month's meeting at Jacque's.

Girl Instructions

Ooops! Almost forgot to post these instructions. I think this is the last one from the checkbook/mini photo albums that I made. If there are any instructions for the punch art that I forgot to post, please let me know.

RAK from Joni

Here is a picture of the surprise I received in the mail the other day. Joni at Crafty Hula Hands was sweet enough to send me some digital images and a cute mini folder to hold them. Thanks Joni! All I can say is that she has perfect timing. I really needed something to cheer me up because earlier this week I got some sad news about a dear friend of mine who is fighting ALS (a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's Disease). I went to see her last night to say my final good-bye and that was one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do in my life. I am so glad that I was given that opportunity. She has taught me to never take life for granted and always appreciate the life that God has given you...no matter what He puts in your path!

Another GG Card...

I used another one of the images given by Kyoko to make this card. I tried to keep it simple so that the image would stand out. It's so relaxing to color these. Thanks again Kyoko!

I finally finished the checkbook covers and mini albums that I've been working on. I was going to take individual pictures to post, but then I decided not to since they all have the same layout. I will post the instructions for the punch art soon. I hope you like how they turned out!
